We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients and completing kitchen prep each morning to help ensure the kitchen is ready for daily service. The Prep Cook will also assist with other kitchen duties and fill in for kitchen staff as needed.

  • No weekends or nights: expected hours are 5am-10am. Monday- Thursday 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on time and ready to work for the 5:00 AM start time

  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.

  • Wash, cut, portion, measure, and organize food items.

  • Assist with daily kitchen prep and ensure food is properly stored and labeled.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.

  • Assist other kitchen team members as needed.

  • Fill in for kitchen staff when necessary, including helping with additional prep, cooking, dishwashing, or other kitchen duties.

  • Properly handle and store food to maintain quality and freshness.

  • Help keep kitchen equipment and work areas clean and organized.

  • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen, food preparation, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Able to follow recipes, instructions, and food-safety procedures.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed.

  • Flexibility to fill in for other kitchen staff when necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand for entire shift.
  • Lift up to 30-50lbs.
