Chesrown Chevrolet GMC has been family-owned and operated in Delaware, Ohio, for three generations. The same family has built this dealership on a simple standard: take care of the customer, and take care of the people who take care of the customer. We're looking for an experienced sales professional who holds themselves to that same standard.

Position Summary

The way people buy cars has changed. Most of our customers start online and arrive knowing what they want. Your job isn't high-pressure pitching. It's helping people make confident decisions and earn the kind of trust that brings them back and brings their family in, too. You'll manage every opportunity, showroom, phone, and internet, and stay in close contact with your clients before and after the sale.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers in person, by phone, and through online leads, and make them glad they came to us.
  • Listen first, then match people to the right vehicle from our new and used inventory.
  • Run walkarounds and test drives, and know your product cold.
  • Walk customers through pricing, trade-in, financing, and delivery without the runaround.
  • Follow up thoroughly before and after the sale. Build a book of repeat and referral business that pays you for years, not just today.
  • Keep your pipeline up to date in our CRM.
  • Hit your numbers, and have the support to beat them.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Uncapped pay. Straight commission with realistic first-year earnings of $45,000 to $100,000+. Top performers earn more.

Schedule

Full-time, with a rotating Saturday shift. You'll split your time between the showroom floor and the lot, so expect to be on your feet and outdoors in all seasons.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A proven sales track record is strongly preferred. Automotive sales experience is a plus.
  • Sales skills, great communication, and excellent customer service skills are a must.
  • Strong organization and thorough follow-up skills to stay in touch with the client before and after the sale.
  • Current, valid driver's license required.
  • Mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to speak a second language preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfort with phones, email, and CRM tools.
