Position Overview

As a Service BDC Agent, you will provide excellent customer support by handling inbound and outbound calls. Your role includes scheduling and confirming sales and service appointments, maintaining accurate customer records, and facilitating communication between departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls using provided scripts to schedule sales or service appointments.
  • Make outbound calls to customers for appointment scheduling and confirmation.
  • Update and maintain the customer database with interaction records.
  • Reschedule appointments for no-shows and conduct necessary follow-ups.
  • Coordinate appointment details with Sales and Service teams.
  • Send reminders via letters, postcards, and emails for upcoming appointments.
  • Respond to website inquiries and contact internet customers through email and phone.
  • Notify relevant departments when appointments are scheduled.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned to support team goals.
  • Work towards meeting or exceeding monthly performance targets.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in phone-based customer service or telemarketing, preferably in automotive or related fields.
  • Familiarity with scripts, power tracks, and alternative communication tools.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including effective interaction with management.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and data entry.
