Position Summary

The Master Certified Service Technician at Kastner Honda is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles according to established standards and procedures. This role ensures that all vehicles meet quality and safety standards prior to customer delivery. We focus on providing world-class customer service and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle issues using experience, analysis, and testing.
  • Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs independently.
  • Maintain up-to-date certifications and training to provide expert service.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and serviced to high standards during repairs.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Support shop appearance, safety, and efficiency, including inventory management and general upkeep.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.

  • High level of automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service.
  • Basic computer and internet navigation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
