Juice Bar Manager

Position Summary:

Oakes Farms Seed to Table is growing fast and looking for a Juice Bar Manager to help us to provide world class service to our customers.  The Juice Bar Manager will be responsible for managing the business aspects of the juice bar, such as hiring and training of Juice bar associates while providing “best in class” service to our customers. The Juice Bar Manager will manage a team of associates by creating work schedules and communicating changes regularly. In addition, the Juice Bar Manager plays a critical role in ensuring goals are consistently met throughout the department. This role must demonstrate accountability, strong team management skills, and hands-on involvement, both on the floor and with the team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Planning and managing staff schedules.
  • Direct juice bar operations while overseeing seamless beverage service.
  • Handles customers complaints and responds to questions, and offers recommendations.
  • Creates daily juice bar menus and specials.
  • Oversees sales and customers transactions using point of sale technology.
  • Proficiently work the cash register, handle cash, and credit card transactions.
  • Ensure bar area follows health and safety guidelines.
  • Manage emergency protocols, company policies (time off, rules, uniforms).
  • Ensure that juice bar equipment is in optimal condition fully stocked.
  • Monitor and order inventory from the store to the juice bar.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and have fun!

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a juice bar lead or manager, required.
  • Ability to successfully lead, coach, train, develop and motivate a team.
  • Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to make independent decisions regarding department needs and priorities.
  • Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule that includes (a) days (b) nights (c) weekends, and (d) holidays.
  • Strong leadership/management skills with an ability to connect positively with Associates in a professional manner.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Regularly required to stand and/or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Frequently required to bend, twist, reach, push and pull.
  • Able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work with a wide variety of substances without negative allergic consequences.
