Inventory Accounting Clerk

The Inventory Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the dealership's inventory in the accounting system. 

The ideal candidate has two (2) years of experience in a similar position. They can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills. 

They must be detail-oriented good with numbers and proficient with accounting software and with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities 

  • Processes new vehicle DMV
  • Enters all new vehicles into the system
  • Processes dealer trade transactions
  • Enters purchased used care into the system
  • Reconciles the physical inventory of vehicles in order to balance the books
  • Processes trade payoffs and follow up on title status with lienholders
  • Work with sales and finance to ensure the required documentation
  • Reconciles factor holdbacks
  • Maintains reporting systems required by general management and lien releases
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

Requirements 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Dealership and Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • One year of experience in a business office environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
  • Highly professional and dependable
