Join Seed to Table as a Grocery Lead in Naples, FL, and lead our grocery department to success! You'll support Grocery Managers, oversee daily operations, and manage associates. Keep our shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing while ensuring accurate signage. Uphold sanitation standards and provide excellent customer service. Position Summary:

Essential Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Support the grocery managers in daily departmental operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Supervise and guide grocery associates to achieve operational objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain the efficiency of the grocery department, ensuring proper stocking, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, courtesy, and organizational skills to optimize departmental performance.
  • Price, stock, and rotate merchandise, ensuring attractive displays and full product availability.
  • Ensure accurate signage, pricing, and labeling throughout the grocery department.
  • Maintain a clean, visually appealing grocery department to enhance customer experience.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Handle damaged or return-to-stock products according to company policy, with particular attention to perishable items.
  • Maintain department sanitation and quality standards, including equipment maintenance and waste management.
  • Assist in coordinating department productivity according to store needs.
  • Monitor cooler and freezer temperatures and report deviations from established norms.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including display setup, cleaning, and security protocols.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Previous experience in grocery/ stocking/ retail/ customer service preffered. 
  • Proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish considered a valuable asset.
  • Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that company does not provide).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.

Proficiency Standards:

  • Stand and/or walk: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting, pushing, and pulling: Capable of regularly lifting, pulling, and pushing objects weighing up to 50 pounds.  
  • Vision: Peripheral vision and near and far visual acuity are essential.  
  • Communication: Effective speaking skills to convey instructions and communication to coworkers clearly and accurately.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear and respond to inquiries and instructions effectively in a busy environment.
  • Dexterity: Proficient in both gross and fine manipulation.
  • Tolerance to Environmental Conditions: Able to work in various temperatures, including hot, humid, and cold environments.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move around as needed.
