Position Summary

The Express Technician will perform essential vehicle maintenance services including lube, oil, filter changes, and multipoint inspections. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and adherence to ethical and safety standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter, and multi-point service to ensure accurate vehicle diagnoses and optimal performance.
  • Identify and communicate any additional necessary vehicle repairs or services to management.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality services and maintain clean vehicles throughout servicing.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment while complying with OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service through prompt communication and accurate service delivery.
  • Support and train other employees to promote team success.
  • Exemplify professionalism, integrity, and positive attitude in all interactions and duties.
  • Adhere strictly to dealership policies, ethical standards, and safety protocols.

Work Environment

This position is based in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. The role requires physical activity, including lifting objects up to 100 lbs and performing a range of motions such as sitting, standing, bending, and reaching.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with company policy.
  • Local state inspection license preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate tools and controls.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must safely operate equipment and move vehicles within the work environment.
