As a Business Development Manager, you'll utilize your connections in the human resources arena and your natural relationship-building skills to identify and educate prospective clients. You will maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing publications and establishing personal networks. Successful Business Development Managers understand potential clients' business needs and work closely with them to achieve mutually beneficial results.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze market data to develop and implement business plans and utilize company resources to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Source opportunities using the internet, social media, networking events, and other methods to develop relationships that result in sales demonstrations and partnership opportunities.
  • Understand prospective clients' business dynamics.
  • Compose and share industry insights via social media and networking events.
  • Communicate with and mentor Account Executives regarding sales strategies.
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure best-in-industry customer experiences.
  • Participate in routine sales and business training programs to improve sales performance.
  • Work with management and software engineers to recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in SaaS sales, HR industry preferred.
  • Strong background in a business consulting or advisory services capacity is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
