Position Summary

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles according to established guidelines, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role may also involve conducting pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles to guarantee they meet quality standards before delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service and repair processes
  • Perform routine inspections, tests, and standard maintenance tasks
  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Support shop operations by maintaining appearance, safety standards, and inventory management
  • Adhere to all shop policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals

Work Hours

This is a full-time, in-person position with scheduled hours to be discussed during the interview process.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional and dependable work ethic
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Previous automotive work experience preferred but not required for entry-level technicians
