Job Details

  • Location: Hammond, LA 70403, in-person

Primary Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot customer vehicle concerns using the latest technical and administrative tools.
  • Display courtesy and professionalism toward all customers.
  • Assist as a secondary customer greeter in the Service Drive area.
  • Stay current with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations.
  • Deliver safe and reliable vehicle service, aiming for first-time accuracy.
  • Address all original customer concerns before discussing additional service opportunities.
  • Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs following local and factory recommendations.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean or cleaner than upon arrival.
  • Participate in factory or in-house training programs as required.
  • Complete all paperwork thoroughly and attach required shop forms to repair orders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Arrive on time, ready to work, and maintain a clean professional uniform.

Work Hours

This is a full-time position with hours aligned to dealership operations. Specific schedule details will be provided during the hiring process.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair across various vehicle makes and models.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • High-energy personality and positive attitude.
  • Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and exercise good judgment.
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Education and Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ASE certification or demonstrated technical aptitude required.
  • Technical or trade school degree preferred.
