Position Summary

As an Automotive Service Advisor at Kastner Honda, you will serve as the primary liaison between customers and service technicians. You will coordinate service and repair activities, communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle needs, and ensure a smooth, professional service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments and accurately diagnose customer vehicle concerns
  • Follow up on repair status to ensure timely completion and inform customers of any delays or updated estimates
  • Recommend necessary repairs and maintenance, setting clear customer expectations
  • Ensure all repairs undergo quality control and road testing before delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle operations, warranties, recalls, and service bulletins
  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and educational programs as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of one year experience at a dealer-level or large automotive facility preferred
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication skills and professional appearance
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive, dependable work ethic
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Ability to read and understand instructions clearly
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Experience with Honda OEM systems, Reynolds & Reynolds, and DEM software preferred
