Key Responsibilities

  • Train, develop, and motivate a professional sales team.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure customers receive an exceptional purchasing experience from start to finish.
  • Oversee all deals, paperwork, and data to ensure compliance with local standards.
  • Lead the sales team to increase market share and achieve unit sales and profit goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of successful automotive sales management experience, or three years of proven sales performance if transitioning from a sales role.
  • Strong leadership skills with a results-driven and self-motivated approach.
  • Knowledge of dealership sales operations and assertiveness in decision-making.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Used car buying or appraising experience is a plus.
  • Auto manufacturer master sales or management certifications are an advantage.
