Job Details

  • Salary: $65,000 to $100,000 per year
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Location: Manassas, VA 20111

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and perform a needs analysis to determine desired vehicle make, type, and features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operations both in the showroom and on the road.
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment using computer databases.
  • Work with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales prices, including taxes, trade-in allowances, license fees, discounts, and financing or lease payments.
  • Inspect inventory by walking the lot and conducting visual checks.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver and familiarize customers with their new vehicles.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings regularly.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work Hours

This is a full-time position. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent sales skills with strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Organized with thorough follow-up skills to maintain contact with clients before and after sales.
  • Current valid driver’s license required.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.
