Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct a needs analysis to understand their vehicle preferences, including make, type, and features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in the showroom and during test drives.
  • Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using computer databases.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate pricing, taxes, trade-in allowances, licensing fees, and financing or lease terms.
  • Perform visual inspections of inventory on the lot.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and arrange vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and familiarize them with vehicle features and functions.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings to stay updated on products and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work Hours

This is a full-time position. Specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Organized with excellent follow-up abilities to maintain client contact before and after sales.
  • Current valid driver’s license is required.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.
