Position Summary

The Automotive Porter is responsible for maintaining and servicing vehicles with the goal of ensuring a 100% customer satisfaction experience upon vehicle delivery. This role requires interaction with Product Specialists, Service Managers, Sales Managers, and customers on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead yourself and support the team in alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Remove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before delivery to customers.
  • Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages prior to return and report any issues immediately.
  • Clean both the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle lot by moving vehicles as directed following dealership display standards.
  • Pickup and deliver vehicles to and from storage as needed.
  • Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service area.
  • Maintain building and grounds when necessary.
  • Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries as required.

Work Hours

This is a full-time, in-person position. Specific working hours will be communicated during the interview process.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely, including manual transmission vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle machinery safely.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform essential duties safely and satisfactorily.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings including background check, motor vehicle record, drug test, and credit report.
