Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Automotive Parts Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of automotive parts. This full-time, on-site role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts shipments to verify accuracy against invoices.
  • Organize and stock parts systematically on shelves, racks, cases, and bins.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with physical audits.
  • Identify and report parts that require reordering or replenishment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of display cases, shelves, and aisles.
  • Label parts with price tags and update labels as needed.
  • Deliver packages to customers and technicians within the facility.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties within the department and facility.

Work Environment and Hours

This role requires working entirely on-site during regular dealership business hours. The position involves physical activity, including standing or sitting for extended periods and lifting items up to 10 pounds.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an automotive dealership service department is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including background checks, motor vehicle record review, drug testing, and credit reports.
