THE POSITION: Parts Picker/shipping receiving handles all duties relative to merchandise (General Merchandise and Parts and Accessories) receipt and shipment.

  • Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. (Reynolds & Reynolds / Ignite; HR Compliance: AutoMotoHR)

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One year in a vehicle parts department preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handle all duties relative to merchandise (General Merchandise, Parts, and Accessories).
  • Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and control inventory related records.
  • Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts as directed by supervisor.
  • Assist with organization and cleanliness of inventory area.
  • Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook. Any other duties as assigned.
  • Fulfill orders placed with company.
  • Read the order slip, gather the appropriate items on that slip and take to designated delivery route.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walk/Stand for an 8-hour shift.
  • Required to stand, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, take and hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
