White Plains Honda is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our dedicated team. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and have prior automotive bookkeeping experience, we encourage you to apply and become part of our professional environment.

Job Details

  • Salary: $15 to $19 per hour
  • Job Type: Part-Time
  • Location: White Plains, NY 10606

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter and review data including invoices, vouchers, and payment requests
  • Resolve account-related issues and discrepancies
  • Balance statements and finalize accounting data
  • Process accounts payable invoices, payment requests, and issue reimbursement checks
  • Match checks to invoices following each check run cycle
  • Enter, post, and reconcile accounting batches
  • Research and resolve payables issues with vendors
  • Prepare accounts for payments and verify system data accuracy
  • Maintain organized filing systems
  • Serve as cashier as needed
  • Provide back-up receptionist coverage during breaks if necessary
  • Break down and cost deals
  • Complete daily deposits
  • Post accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Bill out deals, swaps, and wholesale transactions

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous dealership accounting experience required
  • Ability to balance large volume accounts accurately
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Quick learner who adapts well to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening including background check, motor vehicle record check, and valid driver’s license
